Our Radiologist

Dr Behdin Abed is a Consultant Radiologist, working full time at Pinnacle Medical Imaging. Following completion of a Medical Doctorate degree in 2003, he gained extensive work experience as a medical officer in various surgical and medical subspecialties as well as general practice. This includes three years of service registrar in Ear Nose and Throat and Head and Neck surgery departments. Upon successful completion of a Diploma of Surgical Anatomy and his radiology training at the University of Melbourne and Barwon Medical Imaging in Geelong, he completed a fellowship in breast imaging and had further training in MRI , CT Coronary Angiography. CT Colonography, and MRI prostate. He has a special interest in musculoskeletal MRI as well as Head and Neck and Dental imaging. With the vast surgical and procedural background, Behdin offers a wide range of image guided procedures and interventional radiology.
